THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE HAND MADE 11" LONG TOP GRADE OAK WOOD TSUKA CORE FOR JAPANESE KATANA AND WAKIZASHI SWORDS.
This glued strong tsuka core will fit a straight and evenly tapered ( no curvature on mune side and ha side ) full tang up to 9" long, 26 mm wide and 7.2 mm thick by tsuba, 21 mm wide and 6 mm thick by the end of the full tang. So please check out the measurements of the full tang of your sword before buying this tsuka core.
The weight of this oak tsuka core is about 80 g
By replaceing the cheap wood tsuka core of your sword with this top grade strong oak tsuka core, it will not only getting much better balance for the sword but also give you a great handlling and feeling of safty of your sword.
