    This is a DIY item, so for perfect fit, buyer need to do some wood work to get the nakago - ana / channel for full tang custom made for proper fit to the full tang of your sword before getting the 2 halves glued together.
    This hand made high quality oak wood tsuka with ray skin grooves will be shipped in 2 separated halves. So there will be no more headache on drilling the mekugi holes on the tsuka to match the existing holes of the tang of your sword.
    Many swords selling on eBay are made with low quality and cheap wood tsuka core / handles. But our 11 inch unglued oak tsuka core is very strong and tough, it is weighted about 110g, while the cheap wood tsuka cores of other sellers are weighted only about 50 - 60g.
    So by replace the cheap low quality wood tsuka core of your sword with this top grade oak wood tsuka core, it will not only adding much better balance to the sword, but also give a much better handling and safty to your sword.
