You are buying  2 pair of premium Rootbeer Dyed RV (Random Variable) style jigged bone (Bos Taurus) scales.  They have been processed in our facility in the US.  We have specialized in natural knife handle materials for the cutlery industry since 1976.  The measurements are 4” x 1 1/8” x .160”. Radius top.  They are designed with the Old Cutler bone in mind like Case, Walden, Cattauragas, etc. They are very popular for repair and reproduction. The polished sample displayed is an example AFTER the pieces have been sanded.  They will look darker upon arrival so they must be sanded to bring out the color. You can determine how much color you want to display by the more you sand.  Since this is a natural material, all pieces take the dye a little differently.  They will all be similar though. We have many other options so please inquire.  We have a unique dye process that allows the dye to penetrate the bone and stag and acts as a stabilizer as well.  We offer a dye service for client's material also.  The polished sample in the photo is not included in the listing but represents the color after finishing.
We can only accept returns of items that have not been broken, altered, cut, sanded, etc.  All items must be in the ORIGINAL condition.
