Tired of changing fuses on your brushed ebike motors? Motomentum has a solution for you!
This 40amp Auto Reset Circuit Breaker will replace your 40amp Fuse. If the breaker trips, you merely shut the bike off for 3-5 minutes, remove/replace the battery, and the breaker should reset.
It's slightly larger, so you will have to find a spot in the frame, but we actually recommend mounting it under the side covers to get ventilation.
If possible, we also recommend customizing your side covers to get a little ventilation. Any air flow that you can get to the motor will help keep it cool, and keep the breaker from tripping.
Blown fuses typically happen when you upgrade the battery and have extended ride time, or do a lot of uphill climbing.
The time you spend to install this, will be well worth it!
