Antique 1926-27 Franklin Automobile Hood Ornament

Here's a radiator cap / hood ornament
you don't see every day. A standing lion
with a beautiful bronze patina that only years can produce.
Stands about 4 inches tall not including the mounting bolt.
The last photo shows an example of the Franklin,
made by
the independent auto maker H. H. Franklin Co. in Syracuse, NY
from 1902-1934.
