    Antique National Cash Register Credit Stamping Machine As is or Restore.
    This is a 1930’s NCR credit card stamping phone. It was used for automated credit. It enabled department store sales staff to authorize purchases via an internal phone line. The customer would essentially be approved to pay for a purchase by phone. The sales person would then provide the customer with a little print out showing they had purchased an item by phone.
