Antique St Louis Cheese Cutter Cash Register Model 104

Description

This a preowned antique St. Louis Cash Register called ( Cheese Cutter ) The St Louis Co. Founded in 1915 was later acquired by McCaskey cash register in the mid 20's. It is in good vintage condition showing less than normal wear. It has two small levers on top one 0-5 dollars the other 0-4 cents. The Larger lever is 0-95 cents in 5 cent increments. This lever open the drawer operates the cha ching bell and raises the purchase amount or no sale flags when pushed down (THE CHEESE CUTTER). Total purchase amount of $ 5.99 The drawer opens and latches easily and can be removed by activating latch in back. Has the instruction sticker that can still be read in the dollar slot. The Registers Model # 104 serial # 38757 is a steel register with faux woodgrain finish on a oak cashbox.
The cash register is approximately 16 inches deep 17 inches tall 13 inches wide. It weighs around 50 pounds. The face of the cash drawer is missing and there is some bent metal on the sides. There is some paint loss on the face and a little on the sides also some scratches. Otherwise in great condition for its age. this was one of the original models.
