Leopardwood Knife Scales. 5 inches long 1 7/16 inches wide 3/8 thick. This wood is very hard and dense. Not to be confused with lacewood. 2150 on the Janka Hardness scale compared to 840 for Lacewood. It machines very well no chip out. This will be a great wood for handles. Scales are hand scraped to clean up burn marks and cuts from band saw and table saw. You still need to check them for flatness. Most are quite flat.
