Nice Metrotech 9890 receiver and 990SFL transmitter. Receiver has 60Hz and power setting as well as 982,9.82 and 82. Transmitter has 982,9.82 and 82. Case is in good shape, shows signs of wear from the field. Ground ext cable included along with bag for leads. I do not have an A frame to test this set for fault find, so that feature is not guaranteed.
9.82 signal is great for locating electrical, cable and phone, as well as streetlights. 82 will help you locate past isolated fittings, valves, etc and works great on cast iron and steel lines that may be corroded.
Receiver and transmitter are both in good shape.
Set is in good shape overall shows usual signs of use in the field. Receiver has a spot on the antennae that was sealed with UV epoxy to keep it water sealed, see the pic.
I
nduced on the electrical it picked up go.  Dual range  and auto worked. Transmitter has usual signs of field use. Receiver has auto gain function see the video. Depth picked up within range. Leads have had the ends re soldered and new boots put on for the High Voltage leads for fault find.
These are simple to use sets for general locating, they get the job done and are durable.

Receiver comes with batteries, I have converted to rechargeable to test in the shop and to help the environment and shipping costs. When purchasing batteries for these it is 6 AA for the receiver and 10 D for the transmitters, please use high quality batteries for the best results.
Transmitter was disassembled and battery ends cleaned and one replaced as well as inside inspected and some pins on circuit board cleaned and re soldered.
I charge only what it costs with insurance to ship these sets, I try to keep it reasonable and quick for you to get your set up and get to work. I typically use FED EX, if you prefer another shipper, let me know, we can work something out.
