Description

Genuine Dalbergia hypoleuca. from some tailings,I bought around 1980. The hypoleuca differs from the retusa (Mexican Cocobolo) in that the colors are more yellow and orange, the grain more interlocked and it has a dark black line just under the sapwood. Due to CITES restrictions no shipping outside of the United States. satisfaction guaranteed. Dimensions listed above are for each piece in inches.Shown sprayed with denatured alcohol to show figure. Photos show backs as well. This batch came from a large log that was hollow, the heartwood has great color and figure due to the heart rot, but most of the scales have minor checks and defects that will have to be worked with or around.
