Included in this listing: 1 piece of premium Prime genuine India sambar stag curved knife roll for fixed blade handles. It has very little pith. (See photos). It has been colored amber in our exclusive process. Roll is 5 1/8” x 1 “ on the tang end and is 1 5/16” the butt end. It is very uniform, has good color and is ultra premium material with nice texture, AND shape to insure that they finish nicely and match on your project. There is also a photo of another piece that has been sanded and polished so that you can see what the color will resemble when the piece has been taken to finished polish. This other piece is NOT included in the auction but is merely for reference.
We have many other pieces available but they are limited by size. If you see a pair that you like, please purchase it.
This material is no longer allowed to be exported from India, so when stocks are gone they are gone forever.
This is NOT faux stag, staglon, European red stag, elk or anything else. It IS genuine India Sambar Stag (cervus unicolor)
