Original CHRYSLER AIRFLOW Reading Lamp 1936-37? + Spare Bezel VERY RARE & NICE

Very rare original Chrysler Airflow Art Deco styled interior reading / courtesy lamp including rear housing, curved milk glass lens and chrome plated bezel, a second spare bezel is also included. Walter Chrysler started building cars with his name in 1924 in Detroit after buying out Maxwell and Chalmers. The Chrysler and Desoto Airflow models were built from 1934 to 1937 and utilized breakthrough streamlined styling and advanced production techniques. Online research indicates this type of light was used in 1936 and 37 Chrysler four door models but I do not know exact year, model or application for this example. 2 7/8" wide by 5 3/4" high by 2" deep. The rear housing is plain stamped steel in two pieces with what appears to be a socket at the top. The Deco styled chrome plated steel bezel appears to be soldered onto the housing and holds the compound curved milk glass lens in place. Very good used cosmetic condition with no visible wear or damage except for a small bit of surface rust on the rear housing and very slight plating wear on the spare bezel. I do not know what is inside the lamp and will not disassemble it to look so I DO NOT WARRANTY OPERATING CONDITION IN ANY WAY.This is a very rare original piece with genuine patina and would be an interesting addition to your collection or the perfect finishing touch for your restored car. U.S. buyers will pay .85 Priority shipping, International shipping cost will vary based on location.
