I bought a huge slab of this wood 12years ago it was the most spalted piece of maple I have ever seen, these are the boring parts!! air dried 12+years, the usual defects (see photos) THIS WOOD IS VERY SOFT IN PLACES AND WILL NEED TO BE STABILIZED WITH RESIN BEFORE BEING SUITABLE FOR MOST USES!!
