Description
This beautiful cash register was originally made in 1906 for Mr. A.B. Copley, owner of the Northport Lumber & Coal Co. in Northport, Long Island, New York. It was later was purchased and used for many years by a local children’s clothing store in Huntington, L.I., New York and sold again when they closed in the 1970’s.It is a massive and very heavy machine in what appears to be outstanding working condition. It includes 9 different department keys and can ring sales up to 9.99. There are a few mising key numbers, and some cracks in the small glass covers on the front. Please examine the photos carefully. We are not experts in cash registers, but we will do our best to answer any questions you may have. The photographs should give you a good idea of the machine’s beauty and condition. We have included photographs of the paper labels on the underside of the cash drawer.
