Vintage 1940s Baby Doll Cry Baby-no longer cries.
Hard plastic head, open and close hazel colored eyes with full upper lashes. Painted fine lashes below the eyes. Light tan/brown painted eyebrows. Has a small pink dot in each nostril. Wonderful facial color with pink cheeks,reddish lips and open mouth with two upper white teeth. Mohair wig, blondish color. Wig is loose on the left side back of head. Old and dry and unable to comb due to possible breakage or hair loss. Soft Rubber arms and legs. Cloth body, body does have a stain on the back. She has all of her fingers and toes. Dress, bloomers and bonnet are not original. I have a picture of my mother when she was around five with her baby doll like this one, my Mother was born in 1936. I did get a sound from her by patting her back while she was laying face down, doesn’t mean she will do it again. This is an old, used doll,that happens to be in good shape for her age. There is a few spots on her legs-see pictures. Not bad. Light stain on right upper, outer leg and right inner lower leg just a little above foot and on left lower leg. Just want you to know. Might be able to remove them, I don’t know. Sorry, I do not sell outside of the US at this time.
