    California Walnut Burl,Juglans hindsii, I got this burl in a truck load of odds and ends from a sawmill in the central valley back in the 1970's, air dried 50 years. The usual burl defects, some pieces have lots of large cracks but others are flawless or close to it, they are priced accordingly, see photos.
